Besobela Tulsi Oxymel

Besobela Tulsi Oxymel is made by steeping lots of fresh Besobela Tulsi grown at Earthstar Botanicals micro herb farm in honey and apple cider vinegar for one month or longer, creating a very versatile herbal syrup. Try mixing it with soda water for a fun herbal punch. Mix with olive oil and salt for a fantastic salad dressing. Add to herbal tea or take by the spoonful when you're feeling under the weather.

Two varieties of Tulsi are grown at Earthstar Botanicals: Rama Tulsi which is native to India, and Besobela Tulsi (aka 'Temperate Tulsi') which is native to Ethiopia. They have similar herbal qualities, as well as distinct personalities. Rama Tulsi has a more pungent, headier clove aroma, and is higher in essential oils. Besobela Tulsi has an fruitier, earthier flavour, and is higher in antioxidants.
