Cedar Herbal Body Oil

The skin is the largest organ of the body and the organ with the most functions. Applying herb-infused oils to your skin after bathing is an incredible way of imbibing the benefits of that herb for your whole system. 

Our Cedar Herbal Body Oil begins with Cedar leaf sprays grown at Earthstar Botanicals home apothecary. The Cedar is hand harvested and dried at low temperature, to preserve their aromatic and healing properties. The dried Cedar then used to infuse local, organic sunflower seed oil, with a tiny amount of local, organic vodka added to enhance infusion and preservation

Cedar: One of the four sacred medicines of the Anishnaabe. Honoured with the name Nookomis Giizhik (Grandmother Cedar), Cedar is considered a gift to humanity for her many uses, including crafts, construction, and medicine. Used in restorative baths and for protection during ceremonies.

To Use: Apply to skin after bathing, as a moisturizer. Can be used as a massage oil for feet and body. For a relaxing scalp & hair treatment, massage oil into scalp before bed and leave on overnight. In the morning, shampoo hair to remove excess oil.
