Chamomile: ‘Matricaria chamomilla'. Matricaria comes from the Latin word 'matrix' meaning 'mother' or 'womb' and '-aria' meaning medicine, because it is an ancient herbal medicine used to relieve sleeplessness and tension in women. 'Chamomilla' comes from the Greek 'khamaimēlon' meaning earth-apple, due to the blossoms' apple-like scent.

To Use: Apply to skin after bathing, as a moisturizer. Can be used as a massage oil for feet and body. For a relaxing scalp & hair treatment, massage oil into scalp before bed and leave on overnight. In the morning, shampoo hair to remove excess oil.
